Official Record Contacts

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, arrange release, post bond, or obtain an official booking record. Direct those needs to the public office that holds the relevant record.

County Jail and Booking Records

The Morrill County Sheriff’s Office is the documented starting point for a county jail booking, release, transfer, or identification-photo request. The sheriff’s official page does not publish a separate records line, counter hours, fee schedule, or booking request form. Send a focused written request, identify the date and person, cite the Nebraska Public Records Act, and ask for a cost estimate.

Confirm a hand-delivery location before visiting. The county’s published office hours are not jail-records counter hours, so they should not be treated as a sheriff records schedule.

Choose the Right Custodian

Different records follow different paths. The home page explains the complete local sequence and the distinction between a booking record and a later court outcome.

  • For a Bayard incident report, contact Bayard Police Department first; it may be separate from a county jail booking record.
  • For a Bridgeport incident, ask the current police route or city clerk which office created and maintains the report.
  • For a Broadwater incident, ask the village or responding agency to identify the record custodian before requesting a county booking file.
  • For a Morrill County court case, use the official Nebraska Judicial Branch case-information services or call the proper court clerk.
  • For a sentenced state-custody record, use the NDCS Incarceration Records Search.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the official BOP or ICE locator, which do not replace a local booking record.

Morrill County Courts

Use the court route to follow a case after booking. The public court search may lag entry and does not serve as real-time custody confirmation.
